What is MCH Alert?

MCH Alert is a free weekly electronic newsletter that provides timely reference to research, findings, policy developments, recently released publications, new programs, and initiatives affecting the maternal and child health (MCH) community. Our goal is to make MCH news and policy more accessible to health professionals, policymakers, family advocates, community service professionals, MCH/public health faculty and students, families, and the public.

Delivered every Friday to your e-mail Inbox, MCH Alert is distributed to thousands of subscribers across the country. MCH Alert is also available on our Web site where you can review archives of past issues, search for specific topics, link to reports and resources discussed.


Who can receive MCH Alert?

MCH Alert is available at no charge to anyone interested in current MCH issues.


How can I subscribe or unsubscribe to the MCH Alert or update my information?

Use our online form to subscribe, unsubscribe, or update information. You will receive your first issue of MCH Alert within 1 week after you send the message.


Can I submit materials to the MCH Alert?

Readers are welcome to submit new materials for consideration for the MCH Alert. Submissions should be new publications or journal articles that will be published in the next 1-4 weeks. The MCH Alert does not include announcements of upcoming events or materials that have been published prior to the month of the MCH Alert issue (e.g., articles published in June are not suitable for July issues). Submit materials to the MCH Alert Editor at mchalert@ncemch.org. Due to the concise length of the MCH Alert and the volume of materials available, not every submission can be selected for inclusion.


How can I contact MCH Alert?

If you have questions, comments,or suggestions, please use our online MCH Alert Feedback form. We strive to provide a timely, readable summary of the week's MCH news and would appreciate your feedback on the usefulness and the value of our publication.

If you are experiencing technical difficulties with subscribing, unsubscribing or not being able to recieve the MCH Alert via e-mail, please contact the MCH Alert administrator via e-mail at mchalert@ncemch.org.
